It features a music room with a stage for productions, a wonderful sound system, indoor quad, computer lab, library and cafeteria. There are also after school programs available.
Sage Ridge Private School, 2615 Crossbow Ct. (775) 852-6222, this is an independent, co-educational school for grades 6 through 12 that opened September 1998. Two phases are now complete, they include over 30,000 square feet of separate buildings. The school is equipped with four science labs, eleven regular classrooms, a library, a gymnasium, art rooms and a dark room. New additions include a high school.
The highlight of Edward Pine Middle School, for 7th and 8th grades, is its exemplary teaching staff, with over 50 percent of teachers holding a master's degree or above. Scoring above the national and district averages in reading, math and language skills, the school serves approximately 1,000 students, with an average class size of 28.

The area is covered in a high desert Vally about 4,400 feet above sea level, the low humidity and the high elevation make even the hottest and coldest days comfortable.
